This site is dedicated to Pontins Holiday Camps, and is designed for past visitors/campers/employees to look back at the
sites which they once stayed/worked at.
The aim of this site is to gather together an online museum of photographs, memorabilia, maps, brochures, basicly anything
that has links to any of the Pontins camps, to preserve this part of Britains leisure/Tourism heritage.
Based on the island of Jersey, Pontins Past and Present has been online for.....years now, and continues to grow strongly.
Over the years the website has helped famous stars such as Shane Richie by supplying old brochures for interviews, and more
recently, assisted with the research into the background of Plemont Bay Holiday Camp for a planning application to redevelop
the site.
If you have any memorabilia, such as old Pontins brochures, badges, postcards, entertainment guides, holiday snaps etc
from any Pontins sites, which you would like to share with others, feel free to contact Pontins Past and Present at pontinsholidayspastandpresent@yahoo.co.uk and we will be happy to add them to the ever growing site, Alternativly, if you have any memorabilia from
any of the Pontins sites, both past and present and wish to sell them, feel free to contact the site as we may be interested
in purchasing them
Please Remember! All closed/derelict
holidy camps tend to be on, privatly owned land, and anybody found on the sites are liable for prosecutuion.
They are not open to the public for reasons and certain camps may be unsafe. Please do not enter the sites
without first requesting permission from the site owners. We do not encourage vandels or people to enter the sites without
permission
